Lewis is among the most accomplished golfers to play the University of Arkansas. Her career spanned from 2005-2008 and included three top-10 finishes at the NCAA Championships, including an individual title in 2007. She was named Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year in 2005 and SEC Golfer of the Year in 2008, while also earning medals at the SEC Championships both years.
All four years she competed for the Razorbacks, Lewis received All-SEC First Team and Duramed FUTURES Tour NGCA All-American honors. Lewis was also the first golfer to go 5-0 in the U.S. Curtis Cup played in 2008.
That same year, Lewis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with double majors in accounting and finance. She was a two-time CSC Academic All-American (2007, 2008) and four-time SEC Academic honoree.
Upon graduation, Lewis joined the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour in 2009 and still competes on the tour today. During the last 15 years, Lewis has earned 13 victories including two majors — the Kraft Nabisco Championship in 2011 and the Women's British Open in 2013 — and racked up 117 top-ten finishes. She is eighth all-time on the LPGA tour career money list with earnings over $14.5 million.
Lewis has also been recognized for her efforts off the course. She was a back-to-back SEC Community Service Team selection (2007, 2008) and became the first former women’s athlete to donate over $100,000 dollars to the Arkansas Razorback Foundation’s Century City.
In 2017, Lewis made a promise to donate her winnings at the Cambia Portland Classic to the city of Houston to help with the recovery after Hurricane Harvey. She delivered on her promise, winning the event and donating the entire $195,000 check to relief efforts in Houston.
