Shannon Reagan from Maryville (Tenn.) headlines the 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-America® women’s soccer teams selected by the College Sports Information Directors Association (CoSIDA).
The Division III Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2019-20 Division III Academic All-America® teams.
Reagan, a 3.95 student as a biology major and a Tullahoma, Tennessee native, had 21 goals and 11 assists for 53 points this fall for the Scots. Maryville, the USA South Conference champion, finished the season with a 15-5 overall record after falling to Washington University in St. Louis in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament. Reagan is the 2019 USA South Conference Player of the Year and a three-time All-USA South Conference honoree as well as a two-time All-South Region selection.
The women have 11 repeat selections with three:
Emily Berzolla (MIT);
Julia Panko (Stevens Institute of Technology and
Carson Pokorny (Christopher Newport) selected for a third straight year.
Pokorny leads this trio by being named to the first team for the third straight year. Berzolla was a third teamer in 2018 after joining Pokorny on the first team in 2017. Panko was a second team selection in both 2017 and 2018.
Devin Haupt (Piedmont);
Faith Holloway (Chapman);
Brooke Firestone (Messiah);
Caroline Fleming (Adrian);
Sarah Kogelmann (Connecticut College);
Katy Mockett (Washington University in St. Louis),
Ashley St. Aubin (Augsburg) and
Camille Williams (Carnegie Mellon) round out the women’s repeat honorees. Haupt and St. Aubin were second team selections in 2018 and Holloway, Firestone, Fleming, Kogelmann, and Mockett picked to the third team. Williams was second team in 2017.
Fourteen of the 33 student-athletes on the CoSIDA Academic All-America® women’s soccer teams boast 4.0 GPAs. The first team boasts a 3.97 team GPA, with the full women’s team at 3.96.
