AUSTIN, Texas – Seniors Will Daniels of Central College and Elizabeth Jones of Nebraska Wesleyan University headline the 2018-19 Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III Track & Field/Cross Country Teams, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

A biology major from Geneseo, Illinois, with a perfect 4.00 grade-point average, Daniels was named the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Men’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team Member of the Year. The Google Cloud Academic All-America® Women’s Track & Field/Cross Country Team Member of the Year, Jones, is an exercise science major with a 3.92 GPA from Omaha, Nebraska.

Daniels won a pair of NCAA Division III Championships in 2019. He scored a Division III Championships record 5,411 points in the heptathlon at the 2019 Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships to win the event for the second-consecutive year. Daniels’ effort of 7,427 points to win the decathlon at the Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships was the second-best mark in the event since 1985.

Jones was a member of the Nebraska Wesleyan 4X400-meter relays that won Division III Championships in both the indoor and outdoor seasons in 2019. She is a seven-time National Champion in the 4X400 relay. She placed fourth this year in the 400 meters at the outdoor championships and was third at the Division III indoor championships to earn All-America recognition. Jones ended her career as a 12-time All-American, the second highest total in Nebraska Wesleyan women's track & field history.

Among the 90 student-athletes selected to the Google Cloud Academic All-America® Division III Track & Field/Cross Country teams, 13 men and 18 women carry a 4.0 grade-point average.
