AUSTIN, Texas – Lindsey Wilson College quarterback
Cameron Dukes once again collected the top honor among the 2021 Academic All-America® NAIA football team awarded by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
The NAIA Academic All-America® program is financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2021-22 NAIA Academic All-America® teams.
Dukes, a graduate student from Shepherdsville, Kentucky, took CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for the second year in a row. Dukes owns a 3.74 cumulative grade-point average studying towards a master’s of business administration and a 3.84 GPA in his undergraduate studies, where he gained his degree in physical education and health.
Dukes spearheaded the Blue Raiders (12-1) to the NAIA Football Championship Series semifinals this fall and the No. 1 ranking in 12 consecutive polls. Dukes ranked among the top 10 nationally in passing efficiency (160.7, sixth), completion percentage (63.7 percent, eighth) and touchdown passes (27, ninth) this year. He compiled 2,439 yards passing, 342 yards and nine touchdowns rushing and 188 completions in 295 passing attempts.
In his career, Dukes has become a three-time NAIA All-American, two-time Craig Mullins Mid-South Conference Offensive Player of the Year and four-time conference player of the week with 10,439 passing yards and 114 touchdown passes. Dukes took finalist honors for the William V. Campbell Trophy, which goes to the top football student-athlete in the nation, while landing NAIA scholar-athlete, three academic all-conference accolades and two CoSIDA Academic All-District® honors.

The 2021 Academic All-America® NAIA team had three student-athletes –
Stephen Ellis from Taylor University,
Colby Johnson of Ottawa University and Tremayne – with 4.00 GPAs. The 28-man team compiled an average GPA of 3.797.
