AUSTIN, Texas – Sterling College senior guard Kylah Comley highlights the 2020-21 Academic All-America® NAIA Women’s Basketball Teams recognized by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
 
The NAIA Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CoSIDA with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2020-21 NAIA Academic All-America® teams program.
 
Comley garnered the CoSIDA Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for NAIA women’s basketball.
 
Comley highlighted the 10 student-athletes comprising the CoSIDA NAIA Women’s Basketball Academic All-America® Team. Comley, who hails from Sterling, Kansas, has compiled a 3.95 cumulative grade-point average studying elementary education and exercise science.
 
Comley completed her career as a four-time NAIA All-American, earning honorable-mention honors in 2018, second-team accolades in 2019 and 2020 and third-team acclaim this season. She became two-time Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Player of the Year and a four-time unanimous first-team All-KCAC selection. She finished second on Sterling’s career list with 2,087 points and No. 1 with 580 assists.  
 
The 2020-21 CoSIDA NAIA Women’s Basketball Academic All-America® Team features three-time CoSIDA Academic All-America® honoree Erika Feenstra from Dordt University and two-time recipients Abby Schmidt of Bethel (Kansas) College and Michelle Burns from Point Park University.  
 
Three members of the CoSIDA NAIA Women’s Basketball Academic All-America® team own 4.0 cumulative GPAs. The five first-team recipients recorded an average GPA of 3.96, and the 10 honorees have an average GPA of 3.974.
