Mackenzie Selvius – highlight the 2022 Academic All- America® women’s soccer teams selected by College Sports Communicators.
Knox (Division I), Vetter (Division II), Rennich (Division III) and Selvius (NAIA) have each been named the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for their respective divisions.
NCAA Division I
Felicia Knox, the 2022 SEC Midfielder of the Year and a United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American, leads NCAA Division I with an Alabama single season record 20 assists. She helped the Crimson Tide to its first SEC Regular Season Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Women’s College Cup. Knox, a junior from Kansas City, Mo., carries a 3.95 GPA as a hospitality management major.
Nineteen of the 34 members of the Academic All-America® Division I women’s soccer teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The 13 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.98.
Four student-athletes are repeat selections on the Academic All-America® Division I women’s team –
Chloe Dawson (U.S. Naval Academy),
Delaney Graham (Duke University),
Jadyn Edwards (University of New Mexico) and
Anna Haddock (Auburn University).

NCAA Division II
Jenny Vetter, a forward from Mankato, Minn., led the Mavericks in 2022 with 12 goals and 28 points. She was named a United Soccer Coaches Third Team All-American and was a First Team D2CCA All-Central Region and All-NSIC honoree. A four-time Academic All-America® selection, Vetter is a junior with a perfect 4.0 GPA as a biology major at Minnesota State.
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division II Academic All-America® program.
Eighteen of the 34 members of the Academic All-America® Division II women’s soccer teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The 12 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.97.
Including Vetter, six student-athletes are repeat selection on the Academic All-America® Division II women’s soccer team –

NCAA Division III
A forward who hails from Bedford, Mass.,
Jenn Rennich led Westfield State with 23 goals and 53 points in 21 matches during the 2022 season. She helped the Owls to a MASCAC Regular Season Title and was named United Soccer Coaches Second Team All-Region. A two-time Academic All-America® selection, Rennich is a graduate student with a 3.99 GPA as a movement science major.
The Division III Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division III national governance structure to assist the College Sports Communicators with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2022-23 Division III Academic All-America® program.
Thirteen of the 36 members of the Academic All-America® Division III women’s soccer teams boast a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate work or graduate school. The 11 members of the first team have an average GPA of 3.90.

NAIA
Mackenzie Selvius, senior midfielder from Grand Rapids, Mich., led NAIA National Champion Spring Arbor (19-1-3) with 17 goals, nine assists and 43 points in 24 matches in 2022. The midfielder was named to the NAIA National All-Tournament Team and Crossroads League First Team, and helped guide the Cougars to a 1-0 victory over Marian (Ind.) in the championship game. A two-time Academic All-America® honoree, Selvius is a senior with a spotless 4.0 GPA as a finance major.
