GREENWOOD, Indiana – Four standouts headline a group of outstanding student-athletes named to the 2025 Academic All-America® women's volleyball teams as selected by the College Sports Communicators and announced today.
 
Bergen Reilly from the University of Nebraska, Makenna Nold from Concordia University, St. Paul, Graycee Mosley from East Texas Baptist University and Zavyr Metzger of Northwestern College of Iowa lead the Academic All-America® teams by being named as the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as the NAIA, respectively.
 
The four Academic All-America® teams, totaling 77 student-athletes, have a 3.89 cumulative grade-point average with 24 members posting a perfect 4.00 GPA.
 

NCAA Division I

Bergen Reilly earns the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for Division I after being named to the first team last season. The junior from Sioux Falls, South Dakota has a 3.83 cumulative GPA as a business and law major. The setter has earned AVCA All-America honors each year as a Cornhusker and is a three-time All-Big Ten Conference first team selection. Reilly was named Big Ten Player of the Year and AVCA Region Player of the Year, as well as Big Ten Setter of the Year this season.
 
Reilly was one of four repeat selections to the Academic All-America® Division I team. The others are Kennedy Martin (Penn State), Ella Rubin (Stanford) and Allison Jacobs (Michigan).
 
The Division I team boasted a 3.87 cumulative GPA with four team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate studies.

NCAA Division II

A sophomore outside hitter/right side from Jamestown, North Dakota, Makenna Nold has a 4.00 cumulative GPA as a nursing major. She was named the AVCA Division II Player of the Year and was the AVCA and D2CCA Central Region Player of the Year. Nold earned AVCA and D2CCA All-America first team honors. She was selected as the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Player of the Year and earned her second consecutive first team all-conference accolade. Nold finished second in the nation in total kills (563), eighth in total attacks (1,334) and 11th in kills per set (4.40).
 
There are three repeat selections on the Academic All-America® teams -- Anna Coulter (East Stroudsburg), Kayla Giroux (Wayne State, Mich.) and Peyton Neff (Nebraska-Kearney).

The Division II team had a 3.96 cumulative GPA with 12 team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate and/or graduate studies.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.

NCAA Division III

Graycee Mosley earns the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for Division III. The senior from Troy, Texas, Mosley holds a 4.00 cumulative GPA as a biochemistry major. The outside hitter earned her third consecutive CSC Academic All-America® honor, and second first team accolade. Mosley earned AVCA first team All-America honors for the second year in a row, and it was her third All-America honor overall. She as a four-time AVCA All-Region selection. Mosley finished the year fourth in the nation in total kills (532), 10th in kills per set (4.59) and 16th in total attacks (1,236). 
 
Seven members of the Division III team, including Mosley, were repeat Academic All-America® selections: Simone Adam (Johns Hopkins), Alyssa Dozier (Christopher Newport), Helena Swaak (Johns Hopkins), Brielle Worley (Gallaudet), Kannyn Boyd (Illinois Wesleyan) and Lauren Lee (Hope). Dozier and Mosley each earned their third honor.
 
The complete Division III team had a cumulative 3.88 GPA with seven team members maintaining a 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate studies.

NAIA

A senior middle hitter from Larchwood, Iowa, Zavyr Metzger has a 3.99 cumulative GPA and is a nursing major. On the court, she is a two-time CSC Academic All-America®. Metzger is a NAIA All-American for the second year in a row, an AVCA All-Region selection and the co-Great Plains Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Year. She led the nation in blocks per set (1.99).
 
Four members of the NAIA team were repeat Academic All-America® selections. In addition to Metzger, the others are Eve Fountain (Bellevue), Eva Joldersma (Indiana Wesleyan), and Abbigail Porter (Indiana Wesleyan). Joldersma was the CSC Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year in 2024. Metzger, Joldersma and Porter all earned their third honor.
 
The two NAIA teams had a 3.84 cumulative GPA with Lena Hunziker of Stephens College maintaining a 4.0 GPA.
 
The NAIA Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NAIA national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 NAIA Academic All-America® program.
