GREENWOOD, Indiana – Four standouts headline a group of outstanding student-athletes named to the 2025-26 Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country teams as selected by College Sports Communicators.
 
Tito Alofe from Harvard University, Owen Fraser from the Missouri University of Science and Technology’s, Aryan Shrivastava from the University of Chicago and Luca Madeo of the University of the Cumberlands lead the Academic All-America® teams by being named as the Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III as well as the NAIA, respectively.
 

NCAA Division I

During the 2025-26 season, Tito Alofe etched his name in Harvard Athletics history by claiming the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship title in the men’s high jump. He became the first Crimson in school history to win an NCAA national title in the indoor men's high jump and he is the second student-athlete in Ivy League history to win the national title in the event.
 
The native of Peachtree City, Georgia, would cap off the remarkable season by claiming the title in the same event at the 2026 Ivy League Outdoor Championship and finishing in 12th place at the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship. His 12th-place finish earned him the fifth All-America honor of his stellar career at Harvard.
 
A three-time Ivy League champion in the outdoor high jump, Alofe holds a perfect 4.00 grade-point average in both his undergraduate and graduate degree programs in economics and neuroscience.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division I team had nine repeat selections from the 2024-25 listings. Making their second appearance on the team were BYU’s Ben Bartin, University of Pennsylvania’s Kampton Kam, University of Virginia’s Gary Martin, North Dakota State University’s Zach McGlynn, University of Oklahoma’s Ralford Mullings, University of North Carolina’s Colton Sands, Liberty University’s Ben Shughart, University of Arkansas’ TJ Tomlyanovich and Kansas State University’s Emil Uhlin.
 
The 16-member Division I first team had a 3.87 average undergraduate GPA. Additionally, the members of the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division II teams had 11 student-athletes who hold a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate degree programs.

NCAA Division II

Owen Fraser captured the national championship in the shot put while earning first-team All-America honors in both the shot put and weight throw at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Track & Field National Championship. His national title allowed the Miners to finish in 12th place at the national championship, marking the highest team finish in program history at the NCAA Division II Indoor Championship.
 
Fraser won 12 events during the indoor season, including the shot put in nine of his 10 competitions. The native of Kirksville, Missouri, recorded a personal-best throw of 19.37 meters in the shot put while setting a school record in the weight throw at 20.98 meters.
 
A mechanical engineering major, Fraser maintains a perfect 4.0 cumulative GPA and was also honored with the NCAA Division II Elite Scholar-Athlete Award. He was recently honored as the 2026 Great Lakes Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year for the winter sport season. He is making his third-straight appearance on the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division II teams, including his second-straight first-team selection.
 
Fraser is one of 10 repeat selections on the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division II teams. He is joined in a return selection by Grand Valley State University’s Koby Fraaza, Hillsdale College’s Ben Haas, University of Indianapolis’ Alex Meyer, Cedarville University’s Matt Schaeckenbach, Pittsburg State University’s Dylan Sprecker, Colorado School of Mines’ Jeremiah Vaille, Northwest Nazarene University’s Laurenz Waldbauer, Northwest Missouri State University’s Riley Witt and Slippery Rock University’s Seaton Wozniak.
 
The 16-member Division II first team had a 3.91 average undergraduate GPA. Additionally, the members of the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division II teams had 10 student-athletes who hold a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
 
The Division II Academic All-America® program is being financially supported by the NCAA Division II national governance structure to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Division II Academic All-America® program.

NCAA Division III

Aryan Shrivastava was selected as the 2026 USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Year in Outdoor Field after winning the triple jump at the 2026 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field National Championship. His winning mark of 15.50 meters broke a 20-plus year record at the University of Chicago.
 
In addition to his triple jump national championship, Shrivastava also earned first-team All-America honors in the high jump, clearing a height of 2.06 meters, which was good for a sixth-place finish in the event. He recorded 12.5 total points at the national championship meet, earning every point for the University of Chicago track & field team, as he single-handedly lifted the Maroons to a program-best 19th-place finish.
 
The native of Irvine, California, is a five-time track & field All-American, including four first-team honors and a second-team selection. The nine-time All-Region honoree and eight-time All-UAA selection holds 3.96 GPA in mathematics.
 
The CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division III team had eight repeat selections from the 2024-25 listings. Making their second appearance on the team were John Carroll University’s Basheer Alramahi, Colorado College’s Rabbit Barnes, SUNY Cortland’s Isaiah Brunache, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps’ Kaden Cassidy, Johns Hopkins University’s Alex Colletti, Amherst College’s Ben Davis, Johns Hopkins University’s Emmanuel Leblond and St. Norbert College’s Ezra Schermacher. Central College’s Gavin Smith is also a repeat honoree from 2023-24.
 
The 15-member Division III first team had a 3.90 average undergraduate GPA. Additionally, the members of the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country Division III teams had 15 student-athletes who hold a perfect 4.0 GPA in their undergraduate or graduate degree programs.

NAIA

Luca Madeo successfully defended his title in the 10,000 meters at the 2026 NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships, giving the junior four national titles during his standout career at the University of the Cumberlands. During the indoor season, he won the 5,000 national title with a winning time of 14:13.24 and is now tied for second most national titles in program history.
 
Madeo’s 10,000 meters title allowed the University of the Cumberlands men's track & field team to captured the NAIA Outdoor National, securing the second outdoor national title in program history. Additionally, the University of the Cumberlands secured its third consecutive NAIA Learfield Directors' Cup in school history.
 
A native of Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany, Madeo is making his second-straight appearance on the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country NAIA teams. He holds a perfect 4.00 GPA in Exercise & Sport Science.
 
Madeo is one of six repeat selections on the CSC Academic All-America® men’s track & field/cross country NAIA teams. He is joined in a return selection by Dakota State University’s Cody Farland, Taylor University’s Josh Forbes, Mount Vernon Nazarene University’s Evan Hodkinson, Marian University’s Eric Materna and Montreat College’s Ryan Stade.
